Staying at Scotgate Cottage was truly a memory maker. The beautiful cottage exceeded our expectations, and the photos we had seen online did not do it justice. Located in the middle of the countryside with no neighbours in sight, it provided the perfect retreat for my family. From fishing in the lake to relaxing in the hot tub and sauna, every moment spent at Scotgate Cottage was simply tremendous. After such an incredible experience, we are already planning to book again for 2025.

The beauty of Scotgate Cottage is truly unmatched. Surrounded by lush greenery and stunning views, it felt like a dream come true to wake up to such natural beauty every morning. The cottage itself was charming and well-maintained, with all the amenities one could ask for. From cosy bedrooms to a spacious living area, everything about Scotgate Cottage was designed to make guests feel right at home.
One of the highlights of our stay was the private lake on the property. My son and husband spent hours fishing in the tranquil waters, bonding over their shared love for nature and adventure. Watching them reel in their catches while surrounded by nothing but peace and quiet was a truly special experience that we will cherish forever.
For those looking to relax and unwind, Scotgate Cottage also offers a luxurious hot tub and sauna experience. My aunts were particularly fond of this aspect of our stay, spending hours soaking in the warm waters. The combination of natural beauty and modern amenities made our time at Scotgate Cottage truly unforgettable. Thank you.

As our time at Scotgate Cottage came to an end, we couldn't help but feel grateful for the memories we had made during our stay. The peace and tranquillity of the countryside had rejuvenated our spirits, while the comfort and luxury of the cottage had pampered us beyond measure. We left feeling relaxed, happy, and already looking forward to returning in 2025 for another unforgettable holiday at Scotgate Cottage.

This was an amazing visit. it was for a family get together to celebrate the life of Jamie who we lost in 2013. a wonderful son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend. this was the perfect place to do this. the home was fantastic, pool, billiards room, sauna and hot tub, we shared lots of laughs, stories and made the best memories. there was lots of food and drink too. singing and dancing in the pool.

This grand holiday property is set in the extensive grounds, with stunning interiors and access to a swimming pool. The house was immaculately clean and had everything they needed and more to have an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The family was particularly impressed with the well-stocked kitchen, as it allowed them to cook and enjoy home-cooked meals together as a family. We love trying our hand at fishing in the well-stocked lake and the heated indoor swimming pool is a great way to unwind, no matter the weather outside. The holiday home provided the perfect setting for them to bond and create lasting memories. The calming and serene environment of the house and its surroundings was the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

We didn’t need to go out as we had everything we needed. Swimming pool, sauna and hot tube were beautiful. All of my family enjoyed it and we manages to catch a few fish. It was a good holiday and it was a big house. From Evie age 5.

An absolutely stunning place to stay, everyone had a great weekend. The house was well equipped and there were some nice extra touches to the property that were appreciated such as fishing tackle being provided and a well stocked games store outside. We had a couple of minor issues that couldn’t have been foreseen and the host was fast to respond, upbeat and helpful.

Wow! The beautifully decorated cottage and range of activities to do on site all makes for a fantastic vacation…will definitely recommend! The pool was thoroughly enjoyed by children and adults alike – they couldn’t get enough! And the well-stocked games shed was a treat.

Can highly recommend 2cHolidays as we have used them a few times now and always found the staff and service to be first class and very professional with a personal friendly touch. They kept in touch all the way up until the day of the holiday which was so reassuring.

Family get together to celebrate 50th Birthday

Lovely comfortable stay in this beautiful home. Was a nice get away for the family time. Very spacious house with a lovely pool and beautiful surrounding gardens. Thank you for having us

To celebrate a special birthday and meet up with friends and family, we stayed in an absolutely gorgeous house in Great Hockham.

From the first moment of pulling into the property, you got a sense that this house is well loved and full of fun.
20+ people taking full advantage of the tennis court, with a game of netball. Rounders on the field and when that all got too much you could take a walk down to the fishing lake to relax or have a dip in the pool.

There is a cute courtyard where you can sit out and have breakfast in the morning or a BBQ in the evening with everyone.
The inside of the house is brilliantly decorated, no room is the same….you can tell that a lot of thought has gone into making this house extra special.
If anyone is looking to spend time away from normal life and relax, then this is the place to stay. Highly recommended and we cannot wait to return.

Excellent place with really great hosts. The house is stunning, the pool and hot tub were perfect. Everything clean and well kept. Really loved it and wanted to book for Christmas for our families but of course its already booked! We will certainly be back though.

stayed here for my 40th with a few friends, lovely comfortable place with lots to do for adults and kids. would highly recommend, you won't be disappointed

What a rare find!
We were thrilled to find a beautiful and well-maintained holiday home that was dog-friendly. The whole cottage was incredibly clean, quiet, and beautifully located, making it an ideal retreat for both humans and their furry companions. The huge cottage itself was perfect for our needs spacious and well-appointed, with all the amenities we needed to feel at home and more. But what truly set this holiday home apart was the number of things to do for all of us to do. Games room, swimming pool, hot tub, suana, reading room. In the surrounding areas with a fishing lake and the acres of enclosed garden. Our dog was in heaven, and we were grateful to have found such a wonderful place to relax and rejuvenate together. The owners of the holiday home must be incredibly proud of the gorgeous property they've created. Every detail, from the decor to the furnishings, was carefully designed to ensure a luxurious and relaxing holiday experience.
A holiday home that was so dog friendly. The long walks and the warm little touches for our dog made it feel like home away from home. This holiday cottage brought us all closer together, thanks to this wonderful & dog-friendly home! Finally, we cannot stress enough how much we enjoyed the long summer nights by the countryside enjoying the pizza oven and table tennis. It was truly amazing break with grandchildren, aunts, uncles and our pets and we all feel rejuvenated and refreshed after our time away. All 20 of us we are so thankful for the memories that we created and will definitely be back again next year!

What an amazing place, it was an opportunity for me to get together with my family and this house was the perfect place. It was clean, tidy and well thought out. The pool was the main reason for booking as it was the first time my 1 year old granddaughter took to swimming. The pool was even better then the pictures showed. The grounds where well kept and made the whole stay special. The annexe was beautiful and the owners should be proud of what they have achieved. The staff that we met were very helpful and professional. Definitely recommend. Thank you for our stay.

We went as a family of 23, from kiddos to pensioners and everyone had a blast! The games shed was well equipped as was the pool with inflatables, we had so much fun and it was lovely for us all to be able to do different things but be together. The house is gorgeous and very well kept, the grounds are also beautifully kept with plenty of space. Everybody slept well in nice fresh beds. Brilliant get away for us!

We had the best time at Scotgate. We booked the stay as a surprise staycation for my dads 60th and the cottage had everything we needed from the pool to the endless activities and sport equipment. The communication with the owners was also smooth and accommodating when we needed some guidance with heating. The property was well equipped and it shows that every small detail has been considered. We will definitely be back soon! Thank you!

Excellent venue. Lots of room. Great facilities from the kitchen, games room and of course the swimming pool.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The grounds were amazing and the kids loved it. Little things make a big difference such as plenty of crockery, cutlery, glasses etc.

Highly recommended .

We really enjoyed our stay, the house was amazing! Really beautifully clean, spacious but still lovely and cosy. The pool, sauna & hot tub were just the icing on the cake. They were well used and everybody said it made the weekend to have them to use.

Lovely property, absolutely spotlessly clean, well stocked kitchen, Had an early Christmas for the family, the house was decorated for Christmas which was a lovely touch. 14 of us stayed, plenty of room for everyone, swimming, sauna and hot tub were all well used. Will definitely return for another get together with the family.

A huge thank you to Alex at 2cholidays for all her hard work ensuring we had the best stay at Scotgate Cottage. All the prep was done over the phone so that when we arrived we knew exactly what to do and where to find everything.
Loads of parking space and the whole house was immaculate. (I’m very fussy when it comes to cleaning!)
Scotgate Cottage was the ideal place to help us prepare for our wedding with the whole family around us. The cottage itself is an amazing holiday home and suited all the different generations of my family from ages 4 up to 72. The beautiful acres of garden were gorgeous, the kids were totally worn out. The indoor pool and hot tub made our stay that extra special. The teenagers loved the games room and tennis courts and we were able to sit everyone at the dining table to enjoy meal times together. We even had a pizza oven and enough space and seating outside to enjoy each other’s company in the late summer sunshine.
There’s plenty of space in the house for teenagers to go and be away from the grown ups if they wanted to.
We tried to use all the games equipment left in the shed but we didn’t have enough time to get through it all. Netball and the laser guns were a big hit with my family.
All the bedrooms are beautifully decorated and felt very cosy. A great nights sleep had by all.
The separate annex was ideal for my sisters family and an extra place to sit out and enjoy the view of the gorgeous gardens and lake.
Plenty of fish for the men to sit and try to catch, we had two catches during our stay.
The kitchen has recently been renovated but still has the cottage feel with all the mod cons, 2 dishwashers, 2 fridges and washing machine came in very handy with such a big number to accommodate.
We absolutely loved it, thank you 2c holidays ❤️❤️❤️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

An absolutely stunning place to stay, everyone had a great weekend. The house was well equipped and there were some nice extra touches to the property that were appreciated such as fishing tackle being provided and a well stocked games store outside.

Thank you for such a memorable stay here at Scotgate. There was really something to do for everything! We had the best time with family over the bank holiday and will take back memories that we'll cherish forever. Can't wait to book and be back again soon.

Wow! Beautifully decorated cottage and the range of activities to do onsite all makes for a fantastic vacation..I will definitely recommend! And the well-stocked games shed was a treat.

It's a wonderful place to have a holiday and there are so many fun activities for children and grown ups too. I really enjoyed my. The hot tub/sauna is great for relaxing.

can highly recommend 2cHolidays as we have used them a few times now and always found the staff and service to be first class and very professional with a personal friendly touch.

Spending a week at this beautiful cottage was absolutely amazing, it ticks all the boxes and so much more. We arrived to a lovely welcome hamper, with a very useful information guide. Each room was immaculately clean and provided with all the necessities. The children were always entertained with the swimming pool, the games room, tennis court, all the gardens to explore, the lake was so peaceful to sit near by and listen to all the nature around, they were never bored and it made our family getaway very easy.
The hot tub and sauna were lovely and relaxing, the hot tub was refilled on arrival too. Sitting outside the annex was just beautiful the perfect place to get lost in your favourite book. The grounds felt very safe and secure we didn't worry about the children being aged 8 and 10 at all. The courtyard was just perfect for our early morning cups of tea/coffee and our evening family meals. The company were so friendly and helpful and if we needed to contact them for any reason they were always available and helpful. It truly was the perfect getaway and comes highly recommended by us.

Simply perfect if you are looking for a family getaway, where adults, kids and pets are fully entertained! Couldn’t have asked for more!
