The view was beautiful but unfortunately the cleanliness really let it down .
Hair tie on sink in bathroom with hair in, sweet wrapper in bedroom , toothpaste in bathroom sink and shower glass not clean and hair in shower, kitchen table dirty and not wiped down , finger prints all over microwave, floors had bits all over them and windows filthy, outside table had cup marks all over and outside decking dirty with poop on which was not that days , overall very unhappy with the place for the money due to lack of how clean the place was .

The lodge was in a lovely position on a well kept site. It was warm and comfortable.

Lovely lodge right on the lakes edge. We've stayed at Carlton Mere a few times now and this is the most spacious accommodation we've had. The park does seem to be getting much busier over over the past few years, with a lot more people staying, but we can't fault this lodge and would gladly come back. Great location for fishing. Facilities on site and in the accommodation are good. We had a great time.

Stayed for 4 days with my dog. it felt very safe as a single traveller. location is beautiful, very relaxing and tranquil. Many places of interest and lovely beaches nearby.

Peaceful and relaxing stay in a beautiful cabin which was very clean and well equipped. Excellent location with plenty of local attractions.

The lodge is in a beautiful location overlooking the lake, it is well equipped and very comfortable, and has a dedicated parking space right next to the lodge.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful, spacious lodge. We were there in a storm but felt very cosy, warm and at home.
This was our 4th stay at Carlton Meres and this lodge really stood out. It is right on the lake so there are beautiful views too.

Homely place to stay, beautiful view of the lake. Spacious accommodation with a lovely sitting area and large kitchen. A great welcome folder with lots of recommendations of places to go and all the information you need, in a great location for southwold and Aldeburgh. A few board games and books supplied which would help on rainy days. Clean and well presented with the added extra of a utility room if you needed it. In all a nice place to stay for a few days

In a great location - out of the way. We were not very far from all the places we wanted to visit. Lovely view of the lake from our accommodation (great little walk with the dog too!). Would recommend this place to anyone! Thank you for having us!

Needless to say, I had an amazing time, and I was already planning a return trip for next year! I'd even recommended it to my friends and family. If you're looking for the perfect family adventure, I highly recommend this lodge wiuth those views. The gorgeous countryside location combined with tons of fantastic attractions makes it the ideal spot for your next getaway.

We recently had a family holiday at a great caravan park and it exceeded all our expectations. The staff were absolutely amazing so welcoming and helpful, and they went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. The park was super clean and comfortable, and the accommodation was fantastic.

Excellent venue and location. My children loved walking by the lakes but enjoyed waking up to them even more, myself included. Everyone was friendly and there was a lot to entertain the kids with. We'll definitely be returning

We had a fab stay in this lodge, it was beautifully decorated and well looked after. My husband had a great time fishing (caught five carp in total!) and my son and myself could watch from the decking area. The kitchen was well stocked with cutlery and pots and pans, even with some plastic bowls and plates for little ones.
Beds were comfortable with feather filled pillows and the showers had great water pressure.

Stunning lodge everything what’s needed was init. Decor was lovely. Bedrooms very comfortable. Location was spot on could not ask for any better was right in front of the lake that we fished all weekend. Was no need to take flask with us as me daughter could just pass us a cup of tea over. Fantastic for the dog as he sat watching us on the massive decking. Shop. Swimming pool and bar just 3 min walk down the road that the girls enjoyed. Definitely look forward to coming back it’s not far for us only 45 min up the road but just a lovely break thank you.

Found ourselves an ideal place away from reality; thanks to an amazing booking company who provided us with just the right amount of flexibility!

Its location, there is nothing I can think of to dislike about the property.

We cannot express how wonderful our recent stay at the holiday home was. It was simply amazing and exceeded all our expectations. The luxurious and splendidly appointed accommodations were exactly what we were looking for, and we were astounded by how truly exceptional they were. Even though we spent most of our days wandering about, the sheer joy of returning to such a beautiful home away from home was just heavenly.

Looks like we've found ourselves an absolutely stunning lodge that's apparently better than our own homes in many ways. , I highly recommend booking a stay at this fantastic lodge. Trust me, you won't regret it!
